;D
Just had a txt from a customer asking me to call for money as owe 2 lots and to not clean windows again.
They only owe £9 a clean so £18.
Sent them a message explaining ive been ill for a month and im collecting this week but also this is why ive been promoting online payments or paypal for them to pay.
So its not down to quality or anything, just because they owe a fortune in debt to their window cleaner 😂😂They want to cancel
-
Custards can cancel at any time and don't have to give you a reason either as you are just a skivvy after all. lol
-
I had one get annoyed last month because she owed two times.
I left her payment details but she chose not to send payment.
"Now i owe £24 she huffed", dont clean them if im not in as i cant pay online.
But you paid online before? i said,
yes she says but i dont like doing it....
Well today rolls round and she wasnt in so i left them, cant see her lasting much longer
-
I have had a few don't do them again can't keep affording two cleans all time best thing is most of them tell me to double up next time can't win

A couple of yrs back, i had a customer who was almost in every time i cleaned windows and paid straight away. She then got a part time job and asked if she wasnt in, not to clean the windows. Well 2 months had passed and she hasnt been in, third month i knocked and the husband came to the door. He said i havent been for 3 months so not to bother coming any more. I quickly informed him to make his mind up as i was told not to clean if no one was home and not to accuse me of being hit n miss when its their own fault.
You cant win when you have muppets like that
-
I have had that nathen and I once had a customer that didn't want them doing when it looked like rain then sacked me saying I have another window cleaner because you never turn up wow every time I went round she said don't bother it's gonna rain omg
-
some customers are just bare jokes, you can't take them serious. They expect you to come running, and half the time some of them dont even pay you for months, and then get all funny about you not being flexible to what they want. If i had more work, i'd sack off atleast 10-20 customers that i currently have that are somewhat of a pain at the best of times.
-
any customer who says they have to be home when your cleaning the windows obviously dont trust you to clean them properly or worse you could burgle their house! ;D
i dont take customers like that on.same for people who dont want them cleaned if there is a threat of rain.
how on earth are you supposed to run a business with jokers like that?as for payment its either cash/cheque/BACS/standing order.if they cant pay me in a reasonable time using any of these methods then again i dont take them on.
-
If anyone tells me "Dont do them because it looks like rain" I never go back, its always gonna rain at some point in Yorkshire,so I reckon they dont want me to do them at all.
Its a slightly different story if it is actually chucking it down I "might" give them a couple of chances.
Any business where you are dealing with people can be difficult and 90% of custies are great, 8% are "so so" with only 2% obnoxias but those 2% give you all the grief, you might as well be shot of them as the chances are there replacement will be a decent one.
