Ive stumbled across this site today, Im Terry from Leeds, me and our lass have been doing cleaning for most of our lives so we do have some knowledge of how its done, we are considering starting our own business is it best to start with houses or offices, I don’t think there is much call for house cleaning in our area so we would have to travel to the posher areas.

Don't forget that if you do manage to get work in an upmarket area you'll have to steal a vacuum from somewhere as these areas do have electricity and they often expect you to use appliances as part of the job. The customers don't even mind paying themselves for the electric so you don't even have to have your own electricity key. They must have money to burn.
Another tip is to park the hot wired Astra in a different street, that way if the police do find it while you are working you can deny all knowledge, always wear gloves when driving between jobs and drive as fast as possible to avoid being on the road as long.
Under no circumstances tell the DHSS that you have a sideline, they eventually will stop your Giro. If your signing on day clashes with a job still charge the customer full whack for the time you are away from the premises, it is not your fault you have to leave and the customer should expect this. If they do moan just send your mates around for a quiet word, and of course this is a chargeable extra for the inconvenience.
Good luck in your new venture, if you get a customer with a large plasma TV can you let me know.

Gary,
glad to see someone has a sense of humor on the site, ive got a granada estate not a astra, but it does start with a screw driver, what hoover would be best to start of with? weve got a old dyson it was only 20 quid from cash convertors.

Hi
I started my business in 2004 and we haven't looked back. We have tried many hoovers but have found that a Henry is the best value as they last forever and the parts are fairly cheap. Hope this helps

Sorry Tez, I can't remember!! Someone posted a link to a flag website, I was using the St George Cross but everyone else had one at the time so all the posts looked like they were from the same person.
If you do look around save it as a giff image, then it'll move and flap about.
