I got a twin cylinder Lombardini 17 hp - runs all day on less than a tenner ! What'll those twin petrols burn ? £50

Are the Loncin diesel engines any good or are they cheap Chinese copies?

Never used a diesel version but the petrol 14hp Loncin engine I've used in the past has been very reliable.

Hi yeah there abouts.

Bought this machine as I needed a quick fix, and @ fraction of the cost of my other option of yanmar l100n set up I'm happy to waver the extra running costs as you rightly mentioned.

We do run a Honda gd 411 on trailer set up which is reliable and @ £5-7 per day.

We will move over to entire derv powered machines soon , until then I'm confident this new set up will crack on.

I'm up in the air as to which set up to buy/ build that's one of the reasons I bought igx390.  You mentioned lombardini . Im looking at yanmar/ hatz/ Lombardini/and kubota. Twin cylinder .

Any info apprec

IGX will not work with a flow sensitive unloader.

Only issues are occasionally electrical faults on the auto governor, and recoils breaking.

Recoils are a 2 month wait and the governor chips have to come from Japan by boat.

Other than that I like them :)

Why by boat??? Is that a standing slow boat joke or something. lol

They take so long with parts I'm always surprised they don't send a chap on a push bike to deliver them.

iGX are good, other wise the GX390 or for more power the e-start 16HP Briggs V Twin.

The 16HP briggs will give you 22-23LPM at 250 Bar though some do jet down to 21LPM and run at 300 Bar.
