so lads we ll shortly be coming into the peak season for add on work(i offer f/s/g cleans,conny roofs and solar panels)usually to existing customers but sometimes one off non regular customers.
what chemicals do you use?i have virosol,cif cream cleaner and b and q "sticky stuff remover".is there something more powerful than virosol(is ubik better?)as im not using hot water anymore will ubik help with dirty jobs?
gear wise i have a 90 degree gooseneck which is handy for solar panel cleaning,glass roofs(used on my 47footer),20m of extension hose for customers outside taps when available,melamine foam,etc.
where do you guys get your spray bottles from?(small enough to fit into the unger bottle holder)as im thinking of putting various different cleaning chemicals in and labelling them up.

I very rarely use any chemicals now, have a second hose that I cant attach to the customers tap, that extra pressure
makes all the difference, for the odd stubborn stain I use the original Cif as its slightly abrasive.
On conservatory roofs its full blast from the tap and then a final rinse with pure.

Yeah but you can't get rain lines of with just water

Even with chemicals I found it very hard going to get rid of ingrained lines and similar especially without ladder work, now I just make the customer aware that there may still be the odd ingrained mark left.
Luckily most still come out more than acceptable to the customer.

Dazmond I have seen some chemical call benz blackwash in video it says you spray on facias and gutters leave for half hour to an hour and then all you do is wash it back of if it's that easy I'm thinking about trying it

I'm a bit ocd I tell customers same thing about rain lines because I don't charge the earth for the clean but I'm always not happy with the rain lines .I bought an unger alloy pad holder and converted an old gardiners pole to fit it and now I put pvc cleaner on an unger non scratch pad and use that without having to climb ladder but if this benz blackwash realy works the way I look at this is you can charge a bit more for job if you get them spot on

I have virosol in the van but prefer the hd degreaser from ics, for really bad jobs I haven't used UBIK, also the clover chems tar and glue remover from ics is quite good.
If u after a few spray bottles ya can pick them up off eBay for cheap enough.

Benz black wash is hypo diluted and mixed with a soap, u can do this yourself at a fraction of the price. I wouldn't use hypo of upvc frames or glass really it's not needed when u can use virosol or similar at pretty much the same price.
I only use hypo for pressure washing, and this is generally used on the foot trafic areas or around entrances were it's really grubby
