Title: Tarmac driveway cleaning
Post by: tom20001 on February 22, 2017, 02:18:14 pm
Ive been asked to clean a moss covered tarmac driveway. What is the best way to clean this.
We are set up for powerwashing and have also recently started softwashing using benz products

Thanks in advance

If the condition of the tarmac was poop I would just walk away as would be more hassle than its worth. However if it's sound then a quick pressure wash over to remove most of the moss and grime. Then if custard is willing to pay extra would  be followed by a biocidal treatment afterwards.

Thanks Smurf , that sounds about right. Its just i powerwashed tarmac before, ages ago for a pal,  and it didnt come up great. And i was concerned biocide might stain tarmac but you have put my mind at ease.
