Title: Facebonk
Post by: Soupy on February 15, 2017, 10:58:32 am
Hi all,

Just wondering what you all think of Facebonk for advertising, I've always stayed away from it because I assumed it would be more hassle than it's worth. However today I discovered that Facebonk have taken it upon themselves to make an 'unofficial page' for me, so I figures it's probably better if I am in control of it.

Any experiences with negative feedback on there?

Does it generate work?

Do you pay to get seen? If so, is it worth it?

Any input appreciated.

I dont have a facebook page as such, i go onto the selling sites and local pages and simply type in window cleaner looking for friendly and reliable customers, sometimes they flood in and other times its slow.
I now dont canvass, i simply put an add up and wait for bites and go from there.

I prefer to call it bookfarce and also hate it with a passion.
Anyhow I have not got time for all that as I'm always on here posting drivel instead. lol

Love it, hate it people use it, we've just decided to use it and very quickly had few calls from it

I guess it will improve your communication skills, make you up your game with standard clean and i guess Customer service skills

I think that's why my wife said I'm not allowed to comment as I'm not known  for best diplomacy  skills

I'll see what the year brings

So, got my first quote off it already. Also got some negative comment about having never turned up?? Not something that is very likely but I suppose I'll need to get to the bottom of it anyway.

I get lots of enquiries on fb. Unfortunately most of them are only looking for cheap. S lot will depend on your area. I know guys that have built their entire round on facebook so it definately works.

I think it's ideal if you have a full round and just want to keep it topped up.

She says she filled in the quote form on my website twice and left a voicemail on my phone. I checked the server for the website and there is no record of her whatsoever. I would never ignore an enquiry for work, no idea what she is up to.

Might be another cleaner using his partners login for all you know.
I would imagine there is plenty of fake stuff  written on bookfarce about other cleaners. Then you have the wasters/bad payers that want to tell the world how bad you are to get back at you, not wanting to clean their council house etc. lol
