I have recently been dipping a toe into commercial carpet cleaning. Used an encap solution Rotary and pads.
I also had a little floormac machine with me. In one area I used this rather than the rotary and when I finished felt the results looked better.
With that in mind I went back to a water stain which hadn't moved used the floormac and it disappeared.
I realise the floormac is too small and a large area would take way too long so would like a suggestion about machine type exp between oscillating or normal Rotary?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Geoff, is that an oscillating machine or a rotary with a planetary head?

I know it's primarily a comercial machine but could/would you do domestics. BTW Tim I know it says Jonathan but I am Andy. Long story forgotten passwords emails and usernames lol. Thanks again.
-
Too big and heavy for domestic use there is a small version R38 I used to use nearly 30 years ago but still a bit cumbersome specially when I had to lift it up a spiral staircase.
-
as per shaun, ideal for big open plan areas, not for domestics really....................

Thanks.

Klindex have these on the market now!

I sold quite a few of these in the last two days. One company that only clean commercial carpets bought two of them. They rotate and oscillate at the same time. We can also supply them with a carpet brush. They weigh 42kg. If anyone would like to try one they are welcome anytime.

Kev that link just goes to theKlindex home page, couldn't find the actual machine you are referring to

Andrew
Yes I have them in stock here in Birmingham if you want to come and try one. I have another 20 of them on order as well. The industrial carpet cleaners tried it in the NEC show on the show carpet and said it was brilliant. It is the only machine I know of that oscillates and rotates, it has a vacuum port, water tank, spray system and it is easy to use. Even my 5 year old Grandson can control it.

Rotary Machines have always worked well that is why we sell so many Klindex Rocky's . However now with the innovation of Rotary and Oscillating action being used for cleaning hard floors the results are definitely better. However, only time will tell if the same is true on carpets as more and more CC'ers try them.
