There is a 300 psi listed says fits most machines
did not see price but 400psi was £499 plus vat

If it is the motor it may be possible to have it rewound. I would have it diagnosed first rather than waste money and find it still doesn't work.
Have a look in Yellow Pages under Electrical Motor Repairs.

Also have you checked the motor brushes. If these are worn down a new set may be all thats required.

OK I give up, the pump prices at Masterclean seam to be very good value.
Just one problem, and i know i am not the worlds best on the computer but how do you get onto the home page in order to get in touch with them. Does
anyone out there have Tel Number ? Thanks in advance.

I am going to take the motor in on monday to try and find what the problem is :-X
the problem origonaly when it sounded a little rough ;D, I must admit i dint take a great deal of notice at first, when your hearing it all the time you dont seem to notice it much.
However i thought it strange that i kept tripping custysfuse iwhilst i was working, pumping ok then suddenly would trip. I put it down to sensitive trip ::)
after about an hour suddenly no pressure and a smell of burning from pump, although the motor was tmaking a noise and trying to work, too late damadge already done i guess.
