still the best hard wearing  brushes for everyday use are the gardiners standard SL brushes and x line brushes IMO.

i love the ultimate/xtreme brushes as their lighter but they dont seem to last long but good for awkward angle window work or if your suffering with a few aches and pains.

My longest lasting brush is a vikan oval...I wonder why? lol
Still the brick on a stick works great on the likes of render cleans

The Ultimate flocked and Medium Soft from Gardiner are my favourites at the moment.

Xtreme stiff. Light as a feather, quicker than anything and can still handle a first clean with ease.
Mick you know you can afford it...buy one of each and let us know what you think  ;D

Ultimate flocked. Good all rounder and lighter than standard sl.

Although if I went back to a sl or xline I would probably think they were the best.

Don't know about all round brush but I have just got the 45cm medium flocked ......
Can't wait to use it tomorrow it looks massive compared to the normal sized brushes we use, I have a job on tomorrow that takes me 15-16 hrs normally, am hoping to shave a few hrs off it, especially with the 4 jets

Xline mono for general use. Really good scrubbing power and last a lot longer than a Gardiner's brush and if tried a few of the Gardiner brushes, so not a one sided opinion.

Why not? We probably get through more brushes than most here.

Our brush of choice is the gardiner stiff sill brush. They last very well and with hot water

Longest I ever got out of a Gardiner's brush for daily use was 3 months. My current xline mono has been on for 7 months and still in good shape!

The universal brush from Gardiner's looks perfect for f/s/g though.

I have mainly used Gardiner brushes, I tried the X line dual trim mono for a change and I'm very impressed with it, been using it for 3 months and the bristles are still in perfect shape.

Medium mixed sill.

Perfect for everything from windows to fsg. Had mine a year it's the only brush I have.

I had an extremely before really light but only last about 3 months.

When I upgrade my slx to an extreme I'll go with the extreme brush and use it only for maintenance work should last longer that way.

I get quite a bit longer out of my Gardiner brushes however, I heard down the grape vine that there may be some new super duper bristles about to hit their brushes!! ;)

Swweeet!
Now Gardiner's just need to sell trad gear and chemicals so I won't have to order from different places all the time.

I tend to favour gardiner stiff or flocked sill brushes on either long arm swivel or standard angle adaptors.

I know what you mean. I have always found Soapnational a great company for trad stuff- never had an issue with them at all.

Xline  mono or Xtreme stiff seem to be my favourites, occasionally put an Ultimate flocked on for leaded. Supreme gets used to wash the van, nice looking brush but all wrong for my needs.
