Did a house this morning. It was raining a little about 9, but this was 10.30 and the slightest droplet.
Sent text out, saying windows cleaned. get one back.
"ITS RAINING" was going to send a sarcastic one back, along with go forth and multiply.....but I didn't.
sent one back. ITS NOT and it doesn't effect the finish anyway. Wasn't going to get into a long drawn discussion.
Does she not want them doing on days when it could rain :)

Don't text put a card through the door saying they've been cleaned, you really don't want to be in contact with customers
unless totally necessary.
-
c i u proverb dump replace with 2

I don't put up with this nonsense...I would of text back saying find another window cleaner (politely though).
-
If you educate them first it helps to weed out people like that.
-
Some won't be educated . So I just say politely you will need to find yourself another window cleaner . And I move on as anther door closes another one opens.. happens all the time .

DONT TEXT HER PHONE HER UP!and explain you clean in all weathers.if shes still not happy then dump her straight away and never go back.this is what i do.
i have zero tolerance with customers if the weather is workable.i can understand and miss them out if its hammering it down but very light drizzle or threat of rain later is not a good enough excuse to miss a clean.

I don't understand why you txt customers after you've cleaned their windows to say.... I've cleaned your windows..... have you not got a card to post which says that?
-
Yeh why are you texting after?
I might terxt new custies after just to butter them up. something like "hi, windows were cleaned today, posted a slip with payment info, if theres any problems please let me know"
Apart from that the least contact possible is best, turn up and start cleaning before knocking on the door, hardly anyone has the balls to turn you away once youve started.

Sometimes I forget to post a slip, then they don't pay and say I didn't clean them.
its also reference for me to look when I did them last. Works for me fine.
She was a newish customer. She didnt reply and paid, so guessing all was ok
