Do they have these hose reels in stock or are they made to order? Any one order one lately ?

Just a quick email to let you know we are awaiting the Power Up HD to come into stock as the manufactures are themselves waiting for parts to build them.
We are hoping to have them towards the end of the week/ start of next week.
As soon as they arrive we will send your order.

I wanted the red hose to go with it but that said pre order . So as I want the stuff asap I ordered the yellow micro bore hose instead till they have the red one in stock.
But the power up hose reel didn't say that that's why I orders it . Bit wrong really taking money saying it will be 2 day pallet delivery then I get this email .

P1w1 do you order a lot from WCW? This is my 2nd order from them Witch has been mucked up . 1st order I ordered a wagtail and it came without clips I rang then up and made me out to be a liar . I said why would I be ringing you if I had the clips I'd be out working with it . So he says it send them out you get them in a few days this was in October still waiting .

i did order mine through the website and it says its been dispatched, we will see what happens then as i ordered a few other bits at the same time. I know some people on here order systems that ended up taking ages to be delivered when they had the items listed as in stock.

I've always used gardiners and purefreedom and always had great service from them . The reason I came to WCW is for the electric hose reel . Should be stated pre order and it clearly wasn't . I wanted to gradually get my van how I want I cause of my back if I get it all at the same time few days before I wanna work I'm gonna end up with more problems like having to have mores time off . I planed a little each day so I wouldn't over do it .

mine said next day delivery but the website states 2 day pallet delivery..find out tomorrow i guess

WCW must just have it in for me lol I haven't had a great experience buying from them . I've asked fot a full refund in my email as they sent the email at 5.30 didn't get chance to call them back .

Duncan H so what happens if you got 100 meters of micro bore hose reeled out and the motor packs up ? Has this happend to any one yet ? If so how did you get round it . Besides ravaling it up by hand . ?

Got in touch with WCW spoke to them they were very helpful and understanding and I am getting a refund for my oder customer service was great there . Well I will see if I do get my refund . P1w1 did you get yours ?

Well opened the box in excitement only to find 1 of the cables damaged ::)roll, so now waiting on wcw to see how to resolve it so going to manually be winding in for a little longer.
Just for the record it does come with a handle to manually wind in if needed.
First impressions it looks well built and big, a little bit of a poor paint finish in a couple of areas and the fittings needed for the hoses did come with it apart they sent the wrong jubilee clip for fitting the hose to the inside of the reel.

Frankly boy when did you order it? Ive got a well still waiting to see the funds , re refund from WCW so I can order one from water works . I'm debating now. All this agro to order a product and have It delivered and you get bits missing and it sounds a bit bashed up by what p1w1 is saying . don't sound like good business to me . Really want one these hose reels . seems so much aggro to get one.
Go on say it " should have DIYed one " lol
And I've looked at doing that and that seems to be aggro too . Thought the best way was to spend the dollars on the propa one .

dont get me wrong they are well made and thought out, just a small issue with the cable looks like it has been melted slightly by something that its rested on. Still happy with the purchase.
And as for diy done enough of that and cant be arsed with it anymore and there on the petal reels which ive never liked. Thats why i never brought the first electric reels they made.

Glad your pleased with it though mate . Just annoying it's not in working order. I had a wagtail tail sent out with bits missing. Arnt these things checked before sending them out ? They aren't cheap these hose reels so they should be good lol
Well let's hope . Let me know how you're getting on with it when it's up and running mate . I want one like a big kid I'm disappointed I haven't got one yet mine would have been here today . In stead in wajting for tbe funds to show up in my account before i order from water works . We all get excited when you get a new bit of kit . Boys and there toys lol

This is on there site ..... Weprovide a 48 hour courier service providing your order is placed before 12.00pm (2 days for some Scottish Constituencies). However, Waterworks cannot guarantee this service and does not accept responsibility for late delivery due to courier delay. Neither does Waterworks accept any subsequent loss or liability for delivery delays.
So basically they aim to get it to you by 48 hours if ordered by 12 on order day . So I guess it could turn up any day really down to the courier . I'd rather pay for next day delivery so you get it the next day they could offer that option .Come on these days you order online it's there the next day most things unless stated . Maybe they make them up when ordered that's y they take longer ? They cover there backs by there delivery terms . It's frustrating as I'm going to place an order with them??????

I did try that approach and was happy to do so but after wcw had spoken to whoever, they said it would have to be returned as they didn't want to take any risk in case there was any other issues as it shouldn't have got through the manufactures quality control in the first place (fair enough i suppose, also not sure if it would have any issue with the warranty for the future).
I have to say that wcw have handled the whole issue brilliantly and cant fault there service at all they have been quick in there response to the issue and have organised for someone to come and collect it today, Although this was my first order with them it hasn't put me off ordering from them in the future. Unfortunately its just one of those things that happen time to time but its these sort of issues that show you how good a company really is in customer service and they have been excellent.
Unfortunately they haven't any more in stock so have had to take the refund and have ordered one from waterworks.

Hi guys did you get your power up hd from water works ? Got mine today all rigged up the only thing is it came with 8mm barb going into the reel as well inside the reel . I've micro bore hoses which I have fitted using a jubilee clip don't use o clips unless from gardiners as mentioned by another member on here . Not much room in side the reel it's self . I don't know weather to replace the original 8mm barb going into the hose reel or change the fitting on my Shurflow pump ??? There must be a reason they sell these fitted with 8mm mini bore fittings going into the reel .

@ Jay, how long did yours take to get to you from the day you originally ordered it?
Mate of mine (genuinley not me before someone starts! ;D) had his ordered on the 6th of Feb through WCW (which I believe are supplied via waterworks..?) and after orginally giving a lead time of 48hours, it got held back a week (fair enough) found out today that's he's got to wait until end of next week now, but with no definitive date, just a "hopefully by the end of next week"

I got a refund mate . Ordered from waterworks website came 2 days later . We chuffed with it ..
Jordan from water works said to me he has a load in stock . I checked before I ordered . WCW services was fantastic and got my refund with no problems . So will be buying from them in the future

I use this reel from purefreedom. Can i adapt this and how?
