Title: Removing a Powr Flite machine pump
Post by: markbetts on February 05, 2017, 10:21:24 am
Is there a video on line anywhere someone could point me to on how to remove a powr flite pump from the machine ?
Have googled but can't find anything?

I have a video on how to change the seals etc but not on getting the thing out the machine.

Thanks

Mark

I wouldn't know but if it's similar to other machines either me or someone else may be able to help if you can put up a good photo/s.

Are you removing both the pump head and motor or just the head?

If it's this one, you just undo the 4 bolts that go into the motor

Cheers

I don't think I can get at all 4 bolts though , so think whole pump got to come out which is a bugger

Thansk for your help

You can remove the 4 bolts whilst the head is still attached. You'll need a 3/8's allen key. The attached hoses can be a bugger to remove the first time.I try to undo them whilst the head is still attached, otherwise a vice is needed. If your unable to remove the head the pump is only kept in place by 4 bolts anyway.
