Are you able to remove the tank out from the frame unit without having to undo the fittings holding it to the van floor. For instance if your van was in for repairs could you take just the tank out to put in another van without having to take the whole frame out too.
Also do you find it slightly awkward having to fill up from the front of the tank via a van side door with the hole at the front of the tank.
And do they fit the tank up to the bulkhead or does it need to be fitted away from it.

You cannot take the tank out with out undoing the bolts.
Mine has the lid at the rear of van. And fills through the ports at the back of van.

The frame is spilt into two. You can take the tank out and part of the frame but you need the bottom part still.
So basically you can't fit it in another van.
Filling up has never been a problem on any of our vans. Mine is a bit of a faff with the metal frame in the way BUT I can reach over and do it easier enough.

Is anyone near Braintree Essex that has a system fitted i could look at possibly

Yes you could if needed as it's attached by two U shaped metal straps
But you'd also have to use the front panals with controls, disconnect the batteries and so forth
And would invalidate the warranty, just not worth the day or so your vans out action would be an absolute pain
We have a spare van parked up with a grippa system in it used 2 days a week. It's there as a spare if needed,so it makes money but is always available if needed

Good Morning,
The frame system is integrated into the tank, and then bolted securely to the floor in order to form the crash test approval certificate. Whilst of course, you can de-install the tank and install it into a new vehicle - there is a fairly extensive process to this.

Thanks I'm just doing my homework at the moment , putting tank in another van was just an example ideally if I ever wanted to work on the back of the van I would like to be able to take the tank out to make room as like currently I wanted to sort my ply lining out on my current van but can't as my current tank needs completely removing by undoing all the frame from the van floor, a picture on your website made it look like the tank can be removed fairly easy from the frame.
