Have any of you had problems with these rubbers? The last two packs I've brought I've only been able to use a few of them as they seem to have blacks marks on them that don't come off but leave lines like they have a nick in them and some have no marks but still leave lines and no matter how many times I wipe them still same problems.

Iv got a whole pack in the van with the same issue. They were meant to have been rectified but the issue is still there.
Most rubbers are dung now. Even my favourite unger hard are only usable on one side as there are kinks on the other side.

i take it you mean the razor red rubbers my first batch was very good then the last to batches were all leving lines then i went to bladeright to get some gear and got given one for free to try he said there his best selling rubber so tryed it and ges what lines so chucked it away ::)roll now i stick to ettore soft as there the best rubber out there also out lasts any other rubber the mormon rubbers are ok never leve lines but dont last same goes for lewi rubbers both cant be fliped for some resion the wagtail rubbers are good but again dont last as long as ettore ,i do10 hours a week on shop fronts so have done a lot of testing over the years ;D

Ettore are the best.
I don't always buy them because of the price but they're the best I've used.

I have used Pulex standard for over a decade without any issues. I was advised by a long time tradder about them and in my experience he was bang on.

ive tryed pulex hard and soft for me i found they did not last i had a few issues with lines after only a hours use maby i had a bad batch ! one rubber ive never tryed is sorbo they are spose to be very good so i here but you need there channel for there rubber as its not like the other makes

This sounds like it really goes against the grain but... cut each end at a very slight angle- so that the leading edge of the rubber is very slightly wider than the rounded edge which sits in the chanel. Then.. the very end/edge of the rubber- the tip if you like that is usually the cause of the lines as it gets "nicked" cut a 45 degree flat on it. Just a tiny one, approx 1mm, just enough to take the point off the end of the leading edge. Although I use a wagtail flipper, this works brilliant for me, virtually no detailing and rubbers last much longer. ;)
Do not attemp this with anything other than a brand new scraper blade though.
