Anyone got one of these? I have two and when I've first changed the rubber they are excellent, a real time saver! However the rubber doesn't seem to last two minutes? Anyone else experienced this?

The reason why it doesn't last is because the pressure applied by the 2 end clips forcing it into the edges

So.. The design is flawed?? Do you have one?

I have 2 standard ones which work the same as the one you have,they work better with the red razor rubber they kill soft rubbers especially on wooden frames. The best way to cut the rubber is just inside the clips no letting the rubber go over the edges,it'll make the rubber last longer.

When you cut the rubber correctly I've found they work well,at first I cut the rubbers over the ends and it was awful so went back to standard self dog eared squeegees. If you go on YouTube there's a guy on there Neil I think his name is he's done a few videos on them and explains what I mean.

that's what I've done now, hopefully that will solve the issue, thanks for your advice

I think it was his tutorial that said about modifying the Combinator so it works better at the natural angles you'd create with a squeegee. I also wondered if this was also the cause of the issue as I've modified one of them this way
