What's it for? For your own pricing or are you going to put it on a pricing page on your website?
Don't know about all the sealing bits at the end but the actual cleaning prices I think are slightly low, but to be honest I price on a time scale rather than an area measurement
-
yes I was going to add this price list to my website, it would be hard for me to price per job on size ate the minute as I have only started my business and would most probably shoot my self in the foot.
-
Can be quite dangerous putting prices on a website, some people say it stops people calling you because they have the information they need. so really you are only selling yourself on price you don't have the opertunity to sell yourself
-
Very good point you make there mate and defo something to think about because once there on the phone that's the opportunity to sell your services.
-
delboy start as you mean i have never priced by mtre not even as a carpet cleaner if you charge as mtre at first then price per job and you go back next year or 18 month and the price increases you might loose the job dont complicate it you put your prices on your website competition read it nock £20 30 pound of there price you end up scraping around for work people say to me your to cheap i say yes but i have the work you sitting in your van
-
So you think I should just do my prices job by job but if I don't charge per sq metre how can I be sure I'm not shooting my self in the foot with the price ?
-
so you shoot yourself in the foot you wont loose that much have a minimum clean £50 and thats a 10ft by 10ft deck or flag stones
and thats the floor only
-
There is nothing wrong in pricing per square meter as a starting point, you need to factor other things into the equation like drainage ect.
Everyone cleans x meters squared and charges y pounds to do the job so everyone has a price per square meter, they might not know what it is. This is why I think its laughable when people slag that method of pricing, as it leads to consistent pricing. Ill bet if those that looked at there prices per m2 after the job was done would see quite a bit of inconsistency, which may or may not work in your favour.

I wouldn't put prices on website always price in person for driveway no driveway is same plus if price person u can sell your self to the customer
