Title: Pole holders? What's the correct name?
Post by: Klean07 on January 16, 2017, 08:22:54 am
I've been on the usual suppliers websites looking for van pole holders ( a bracket or similar to store my poles in my van) but doesn't come up with anything so does anyone know the proper name of these?

Pole rack.  A local fabrication business could build and fit you one to suit your needs.

Or a piece of guttering, i use the D Type, not the curve type guttering and its a fraction cheaper than soil pipe

The clamp is called a munsen ring

You will need some threaded rod cut to the length you need.

Metal gutter brackets . don't bother with  the pipe . with brackets it's just fine

Better to use munsen rings as have rubber insert to help protect the poles methinks

Thanks Smurf. The only thing I ever learnt in Chemistry was what a Bunsen burner did. The rest didn't make sense. So to remember Munsen is easy.  ;D
