Title: furniture lifter

I purchased one of these yesterday,

 Probably correct,  I really only struggle sometimes when a heavy item needs tabs, I thought would be handy just to lift up
 with out the struggle of lifting and placing at the same time.

Alternatively....you could eat 'three' shredded wheat for breakfast each day  ;)
