Been with them over a year now. Used to pay about 6-8 pounds charges per month then saw fsb deal. You get a 25pound rebate if you have been with them a year.
Fsb advantages are good.  Tax investigation peace of mind worth the annual fee alone I think.  Also tax helpline. Have not been brave enough to go to a breakfast mtg yet!

Downside... no branch near me to pay in. I pay cheques in via post. They provide second class postage paid  envelope and takes a day or two extra to clear. Cash is paid in to a nominated post office. Also a day or two extra to clear.

All in all Coop Bank works for me.

As regards checking online payments although online banking screen look a bit dated it does everything I need it to do.
I ask my customers to use their address as a reference so easy to check. The only problem I have is one customer who uses my address as a reference not his!  ::)roll But I know which muppet this is so I know he has paid.

Well not really an app but if you have a decent Internet connection you can use your mobile to connect to their main site.

You get given a small pin number generator key fob which generates a unique number to access the site so quite secure.

Also forgot to mention decent UK based call centre if any queries. Coop bank has had bad press over last year but money still protected by Govt guarantees etc.
