collecting last night and a long standing customer says "i cant believe you came to clean the windows on saturday in all that fog!it was 4pm before the window dried properly!"eh!? ::)roll
were the windows clean when they dried?oh err!yes but not that clean!i wouldnt mind but its a £4-00 front only!
the windows looked fine to me.got paid and gave her the old "i wont be coming round again!" and flounced off. ;D
what annoys me about these types of people is when am i supposed to turn up to clean the windows in winter?on a sunny dry day with no hint of rain/wind/fog etc?
-
Thats why i educate my clients that ive invested in thus system as it allows to work in such conditions and that i will be working in the rain rather than loosing income down to the elements.
Though i did get the one customer who asked me not to clean their windows when it was only drizzling. So politely told him i didnt invest in this for people to be stuck in their ways thinking somehow they will not have clean windows once the drizzle had finished and they would be more suitable looking for a window cleaner who is happy to loose days of work/income due to drizzle.
Best part, day after i picked up a new customer which was double value of house i just lost. ;D ;D
-
We need to just carry on and change the way custards think. I've picked up a customer before in the pouring rain and she wanted me to do her first clean in it!
-
I love a good flounce. Haven't had one for months.
-
i think the real reason is she doesnt like wfp.she d rather i cleaned her 4 windows "by hand".sod getting my ladders out for 2 upper windows.
plus it used to take me 5 mins to clean her windows.now its 2 mins with wfp. ;D :D
-
People are stressed this time of the year, especially as the credit card statement for last month has just arrived in the post.
-
Cleaned my windows at the w/e...checked them after Monday's rain and all the side windows needed doing again.
-
I got a strange call the other day asking if I change anything I put in my water I said no why ,she says because my windows have condensation on outside of my windows and my neighbour s are bone dry .I said I'm sat outside Lidl at mo windows full of condensation outside and I don't clean windows on that .she's been a pain since I took her on .told her only to call me when she uses the common sense she was born with
-
Some people just love to moan mate! Thats the beuty of working for yourself, if you dont want to put up with it you dont have to :)

Shouldn't need doing again if you've invested enough money - go and spend some more!
-
Oh well look on the bright side daz that's less water you have to cart about ;D
-
told her only to call me when she uses the common sense she was born with
;D Like that !
-
That' never going to happen methinks ;D

Is there any point doing a front only @ £4 and then having to go back to collect it ???
Sounds like a waste of time to me.

Why not? Bacs wouldn't cost you anything to collect, whereas collecting is costing you your time and wear on the Capri Rodders
You do contradict yourself at times
