On a water meter here @ £2.92 per 1000 litres.
1000 litres through RO/DI gives you 400 litres Pure.
My TDS is around the 100 mark, sometimes low 90's or up to 110 depending.
Would I be better off with a double DI and no waste.
In other words how many 1000 litres would I get before resin change?

2.50-3 Quid per hundred litres seems to be the going rate from fellow window cleaners, pet shops charge about 6 quid for 25 litres!

Yea it is good, im not on a water meter so can afford to do it like this for now and still make a profit so win win.

According to "Gardiner's" resin calculator www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/Resin_Calculator.htm which I assume works to zero TDS the figures are as follows: Current system £2.92 per 400L Resin only: £6.99 per 400L

If you work with a TDS higher than zero the "resin only" cost would diminish

Hi guys,

I'm going to change from our merlin set up to a more efficient RO system, as we're putting a lot of water down the drain.

Any recommendations on a better system? We're needing about 2500 litres a week at the moment but I'm going to put a uni-valve into the poles to save on water, so hopefully get that down to under 2000 litres.

Thanks

Rob
