Title: Trolley for Gardiners backpack?
Post by: Shrek on January 06, 2017, 01:20:10 pm
Hi all , I've read a few of you guys use a trolley to wheel your gardiners backpack around instead of carrying it...
has anyone got a link for one please?

My local aldi was selling a trolley at the time and so i bought that. Its steardy enough and has a fold down handle but the wheels are small and flimsy. Im on look out for a replacement trolley, might useone of the bigger trolleys and cut it down to size.
But i also would like to see any links to a more suitable trolley, cheers

Einhell is the one I use.  Use it everyday for all my work and get through two a year.
Cost around £30.
Could do with a bit more rugged one, the axle bushes go on them.

£25 - a reviewer said they had moved an oven and a dishwasher with it!

We use a Clarke strong arm . It was about £40 from Amazon or eBay can't remember . It's been used now for about 16 months every working day all day . It's the perfect size and height for a backpack . P shaped handle so you can pull it with one hand while holding the pole. The only problem was the wheels only lasted about 3 months . So I bought some pneumatic ones off eBay about £10 for two . And they have been on ever since . Rock solid and feels like it will last forever . Before that I had 2 folding type ones , absolute crap only lasted a couple of weeks .

i have the same one!cost me £40 though from amazon.its ok but not sturdy enough if your using it all day every day IMO.

its good for occasional use and it folds away nicely.

I use the same for my backpack as some of the alley I go down have wheelies bins  and really narrow anything bigger and I would have to lift over the bins.

I use this model too transfer my barrels to my car 2x (50ltrs) at a time. They don't last eight years though with this weight but they are still a good buy and last ages

Lidl's do them from time to time for £15.

You use a shopping trolley?
And couldn't you have just nicked one?
Or fished one out of the canal?
