You need to give a link to the machine it's hard to identify with just a picture.  Is it a Honda engine & interpump or a copy?

That FSC  look expensive with the water broom fixed to the front, do you really need this type of FSC? I would go for a smaller FSC  considering that looks like a 13 HP or smaller machine it might not be suitable to run a big FSC

Just re-read your question...... Have you already bought this machine? If so my advice to buy a different FSC is pointless :-\

Thanks for your reply . The machine is a Honda gx390 with a flow rate of 21 litres per min . Not to sure about what the pump is but it can only be suction fed if that helps !

The bar on the front of the Fsc is a complete waste on time

I bought the exact same machine from the same place last April Del Boy. Great piece of kit and you will be able to handle all domestics no problem. I upgraded from Honda gx390 15 Lpm to Honda gx390 with 21 Lpm and it powers the fsc a lot better. Only downside has been with it using more water per minute I sometimes use more water then I can get into my water butt so have to wait for it to fill back up before I can go again but performance wise it's sound!!

I also bought the dual tech fsc but the 18 inch and don't really use the front bar to be honest so would get an ordinary one if I were to buy again

I've had  that at machine and the same size FSC , the reason it's not a good match is the rate of speed you can use it, you need to move Very slow otherwise it does not clean or you find yourself going backwards & forwards constantly. Just because its big does not mean its quicker.

It also will not touch the weeds, you will still need to go across the full drive again to remove all the weeds it  missed.

Ask your wife size doesn't matter :D

This is an old video of mine using a 12 inch FSC, (it worked quicker that a bigger 18inch I also had)  and I preferred to use this one.

Ignore the water comment at the beginning, I now know this is not true..... I miscalculated  :-X

That's an interesting head, anyone know how much it cost? And what psi/flow rate it requires.

I need a new turbo lance head, mine it not the right size, it returns half the water back into the tank.  I  did fit 2 heads onto the lance but it was not that good

I told you before that if you want quality you have to pay for it but just imagine how much quicker it is to use and how much more you can get done.  If you think that's expensive you would die if you knew what they charge for their FSC's

Unless you are into that line of work in a big way to be able to fork out for falch kit and lucky enough to get plenty of good paying contracts.  Then I can't see the point in investing 40-60K just to clean domestic driveways at say 200 squid a pop do you  ;D

Now you know why we sold nearly all our Falch Kit don't you?   It was OK when we had commercial contracts but even they got to the point of trying to cut the cost to the bone then it was make a decision whether or not they were worth the bother.

The pressure & flow rate means You couldn't really use that machine to clean drives, you would need to take a massive bowser of water to compensate for the standard water flow of most households, on commercials you could use a standpipe.

But  it would be like using a Rolls Royce as a taxi.......of course it would be the worlds best taxi but a ford would do the job needed

I thought on those falch 30 lpm twin burner trailers you can adjust the flow & pressure right down. Especially when using hot on delicate substrates surely?

Your right you can alter everything to suit, pressure, flow and heat.  I used to have one of these:

 http://www.falch.com/products/accessories/surface-cleaning/z0000213.html

but to run it perfectly you needed a 500 Bar Machine and both mine were only 300 Bar
