I heard that prehistoric window cleaners used to indulge in this activity in the dim mists of ancient days
Finished now except for half a day next week, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on my mood

i like a good break over Christmas away from window cleaning (always have done) it puts me in a good frame of mind when i start back to crack on again . Before the kids started school would usually go to south africa for a month over the christmas holidays (not in a 5 star hotel mind ;D)

Collecting, This is the best time for us Collectors, TIPS, as much as i dont like to take , Arefusal always offends. Face to Face, Take time to get any change out , OH Keep it 4 xmas ;D ;D ;D ;D ;).
This pays for all yearly collecting. A bond between cleaner and customer. 8), All my tips pay for my time off from Wed right through to end of Jan. Or untill i get bored

I was going to finish Thursday but the phone has just rang and Ive picked up a £5,000.00 gutter cleaning job to do Friday, which helps as I've now got a gutter-vac.

Had big problems with my R.O.
About three weeks now and totally racked off! Need to get away from it.
Will probably go out before the new year.

Be finished by this friday and back tue 3rd for wk to allow most of the wk after to be off for prior arrangements.
Collecting this time of year is great. Have a pocket full of change; 20's n 50's.
A 2nd great tip which i stumbled accross. A couple of yrs back a customer gave a bottle of wine and i had no choice but to carry it whilst collecting. When other customers saw it, they went back inside and brought extra money for a tip plus a botle of wine. So now i take my own bottle of wine in a carry box with me whilst i collect, but this year i might swap it for a bottle of whiskey and see what happens ;D ;D

Be working upto sat morning doing regular commercial, off Christmas Day working Boxing Day doing an event clean for following day, not very happy bout it but hey ho .... Minimal work during festive period but another event booked in on the 30th & 31st

Finishing Thursday, back on the 3rd. Still go out collecting for most of the custys, and that way get far more tips. Ones that pay in don't usually pay in that bit extra, but a little face to face and they can't help but say, " oh and here's a little something for christmas, have a drink on us ", and I just use those puppy dog eyes............( obviously only on the ladies)........and to the blokes its a " cor blimey geeza, fanks very much, I tips me 'at to ya " ;)

Was going to be tomorrow as i had planned it all out to get done by then but got three extra jobs and i cant turn down extra brass so it will drag out whilst friday i think.
Never mind friday at the latest and back on Wednesday 4th Jan

About 4 hours time . Would then have taken the lad to the boozer , but he's only 17 . So I will get him a bag of skunk and some pills instead .

thats exactly the same attitude the guy who i used to work for had around xmas time. ;D
im looking forward to a good 10-11 days off.got a gig on new years eve and a curry night planned for the 28th for the band and their wives/girlfriends.a few meet ups with the family then ill be ready to go back on the 3rd jan! ;D

I only collect this time of the year.
I always wear a Santa hat (obviously) and will carry a bottle of wine with me (I love this forum for good tips - geddit?) but for added effect I wear earphones around my neck softly playing old Noddy belting out "Merrrrrrry Kriiisssssmasssssss!"
Of course I carry mistletoe on my selfie stick for grabbing a quick kiss off of any attractive lady customers - and the good pics get put on my website to attract more custom in the new year.

im going up to my brothers house to clean his this morning before the storms get too bad!.ive not seen it since he s had the swimming pool,cinema room and all the other work thats been done over the last 6 months.hes had up to 30 workmen working on it at times.
just hope theres no cement on the glass. ::)roll
plus its a freebie too.

Was going to finish after Thursday but took Thursday off. Sorted all my kit and accounts. Ready for return to work in a great shape.
Supposed to be going to relatives for Christmas BUT my little boy has developed chicken pox, might have to cancel.

Yep, slight change of plans here as well. Had severe case of food poisoning other day, so bad night n following day. So finishing tomorrow if winds arent too bad. Its not that bad here today so able to play catch up thankfully

Finished on the glass at 12.15 today.
Worked with my littlest' un and said I'd pay her £50 if we got all my remaining work done by the time the rain came in (which was forecast for about 1.30).
Got the second reel out and put her on a couple of conservatories which I rinsed at the end.
Went to the bank and paid in some lolly and got home just after 1 pm.
That's it until Tuesday January 3rd.

Whoop Whoop finished at 12 today.... did a big 110 job 2 hours and now ped... well a little pi ssed... beer and cider and waiting for the girlfriend to get ready and take her out to a fancy pub...

Daz, don't forget to drive the GTI into the swimming pool and lob the cinema screen through the cinema room window like a real, mad for it rock star.
I finished Wednesday and we've been to Winter Wonderland (Manchester) today to watch Basil Brush (among other things).
He was rubbish. Fox hunting should be made compulsory.
I used to love him as a kid, as well.
