Title: Daytime door knocking

Who does this and do you still get a result?

When out cleaning we find almost half of people in during the day.

I have only ever knocked in the day mainly because I can't be arsed going out after a days work.

Average would be one new customer an hour but obviously it's totally unpredictable. Around 1 in 4 answer the door during the day it more of a leaflet drop really.

I do & I do get a result.

If people are out I just drop a leaflet through the letter box.

Three points to make:

1. How do you incentivise staff to canvass for you?
2. Have you tried leafletting the street the day before the van is in the area; and then door knocking / leafletting just BEFORE you start working in the street?

You get results anytime between 9-8 but best hours by far are 5.30-8
Best day is Sunday too.
