Title: Sail cleaning
Post by: Splash & dash on December 07, 2016, 06:42:48 pm
I have been asked by a customer who has a large canvas type material sail on the front of his hotel if I can clean it . It's suspended about 15 to 20 feet up on the hotel , its green with algi and general dirt , would algo clear pro be suitable for cleaning this ? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated, Ime there on Tuesday next week and will take some pics and post them , thanks for your help

Algo clear will kill the green but won't lift the road grime.  I'd try a test patch with enzyme first - something like enzall

mix with water over 65 degrees. You could use a bio washing powder to similar effect. I'd shy away from high alk at first

What material is it ?

The blue and white striped bit is plastic with a material inner , the big white one is a canvas type of material , they want a price for cleaning it , wasn't sure how to clean it effectively or what to use , or how long it would take , or how much to charge , thanks for your comments I will try a few diffferent things as a test
