Title: Pole problem
Post by: JamieG on December 07, 2016, 11:53:30 am
I am fairly new to water fed pole cleaning but never had a problem with it till now. I've jus bought a new 30ft pole and when connected my flow of water is very poor, even when I turn pump up and pole is not extended?  ???

Could your new pole have different jets, say 3mm instead of 2mm? Though the flow would be about the same it would give the impression of less flow.

If you have a controller recalibrate it.

Might be stating obvious and apologies if youve done this already.
You mention its a new pole, so taking that as you had a pole before. If so, is the brush still on the old pole? If so connect old pole bk up and see if any problems still exist. If it does, might be suggestive of the pump as some have said. Hiwever if it works well then its not pump.
As above is it a change of jet sizes or extra jets? Again obvious but i went from 2 jets to 4 and a flow from 45 osn digi reader to now using 70.
Are the jets slightly blocked, push a pin in jet holes to clear. Unconnect all pole hose fittings at brush head and just double check the connections/push fits etc.

Kink in the pole hose? Inside the pole or where it comes out to the brush head?

if flow has been ok before now,has the tempature dropped where you are ?which I assume it has  put the calibration up on controller that should sort it,providing no kinks in ,main hose and polehose

unhook the pole hose, from reel,.  what mm   is your reel hose.     see what the waterflow is like coming out of your reel,   turning your controller  up and down,         whatch your waterflow go up and down when turning the controller.
