+1 the red thermobore hose is excellent and better than normal yellow micro bore but it's very heavy to work with

its crap i had some.its a nightmare to work with.far too heavy and cumbersome.i binned mine after a few months.
the standard hose from gardiners is really good and suitable for hot water since they changed suppliers a few years ago.thank God!i couldnt work with that red stuff anymore. ;D

I have fixed reels one with the red thermobore , one with yellow micro bore the thermobore is now 2 years old and shows no sigh of wair I've replaced the yellow after a year or so , the yellow is much nicer to work with on houses but the reds better on commercial. I agree with Dazmond if you use the red all day on houses you don't need to go to the gym in the evening !!!

+1 The standard Gardiners minibore works well with regular hot water cleaning. We lift our hose reels outside of the van and use half inch car radiator hose with hose locks on between the hose reel and the tank.
