I find Vision make the window frames very static and seams to make muck  stick to them. Just went on  strate pure and its better so won`t be using it no more. Its an unnessary cost that makes the work more difficult.

I hardly use it my tank now, mainly because I just couldn't be bothered to put it in the tank everyday.
To answer daz, yes it's good for trad, gives a better slip.
It's also good when you add it into your backpack with chemicals for cons etc.
My perfect chemicals mix at the mo is 2 squirts of vision, one big squirt of fairy and a bit of heavy duty cleaner degreaser ( ubik, virasol or whatever).

I've never bothered adding the likes of vision to a trad mix yet. But may give it a go sometime to see if it gives added slip.

I'm on my second week of using vision and to be honest i love it, the brush glides over the glass much better and i love the way it reacts to heat, seems to bubble a lot more through the hot water heater.
I've also noticed it sheets better when on hydrophobic glass.

Never tried it with trad gear but had the same experience as Steven with wfp.

Same here, it does froth and foam and seems to sheet better and you think you have an amazing shine. However, when you go back to pure alone the results are the same.

Look at any panes of glass in certain sunlight and they will shine even filthy ones.

So what I'm saying appearance can be deceptive so how do you really know if it makes any difference or not?
Maybe it’s just a trick of your brain telling you otherwise (placebo factor) who knows.

Reminds me of an animated film my older kids loved, "chicken run" haha.  Or a line from the film;
"Its all in you head, its all in your head"
 ;D ;D

Though im only jealous, i wish i could make a product and convince many to buy it because it has bubbles and smells nice.

The way that I see it these types of additives were created as a boost to aid pure water that could still be able to dry out spot free.  Meaning the main purpose was to help clean mucky glass formost. Then to help reduce rinsing down afterwards which would help with a speed of a clean. Unlike using other chems as a pre-boost like ubik, virosol, tfr, dish soap etc where extra rinsing would be required to make sure the glass dried out spot free.

Hot/warm pure with an additive like vision in my book does help especially on the likes of sticky / dried on tree sap etc

It's a bit like marmite you either like it or hate it.

Oh and to answer the op question yes it seems to add slip to a trad soap mix as I've just tried it. But like most things best try it out yourself to see what you think.

i disagree smurf.vision makes the brush too slippy on the glass making it harder to scrub off snail trails, pollen etc.also rinsing is slower due to bubbles and you cant tell whether their bubbles or dirt half the time! ::)roll

Depends what version you are using I suppose as the formulation has been changed at least 3 times if I recall.

Brings to mind a story from my childhood. 'The Emperors New Clothes.'
It sounded silly when I was young, but the older I get the more I see how true the principle behind it is.
