I did this job today and thought I would do a little video of the carpet moths. To my surprise they gave me a good show!

Thanks for posting that, it's an interesting video.
I've seen the same thing before. I went to a job last year where the people were moving in. The whole house was infested, all the edges were eaten away and the new buyers hadn't even noticed the bare patches along the edges of the carpets!

That's a good video and would be good for marketing and training purposes, have you thought about protecting it and getting it Copyright Protected?

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that I better do.

Copyright is automatic, so you own the copyright.

Not sure quite what that means,
But it's advisable to protect it..

It's very simple, you just have to prove that you have the priority date of the video. This has been done because youtube have date stamped it as logged on 24/11/2016. Copyright has been proved. Now anybody using it and claiming it to be theirs would have to show the video on their channel with a prior date.

What did you use to treat the carpet?

On that particular job i used Carpet Moth Protector by Stainsheild from Ashbys.
