You make a very good point Phil Mills. I'm sure the OP has an explanation to clarify ...

Self employed people do not pay PAYE.
https://www.gov.uk/employment-status/selfemployed-contractor
Checking if they’re exempt from PAYE
Someone is probably self-employed and shouldn’t be paid through PAYE if most of the following are true:
they’re in business for themselves, are responsible for the success or failure of their business and can make a loss or a profit
they can decide what work they do and when, where or how to do it
they can hire someone else to do the work
they’re responsible for fixing any unsatisfactory work in their own time
their employer agrees a fixed price for their work - it doesn’t depend on how long the job takes to finish
they use their own money to buy business assets, cover running costs, and provide tools and equipment for their work
they can work for more than one client
If someone’s employment status for PAYE still isn’t clear, you can use HMRC’s Employment Status Indicator or call HMRC.

You'll find lots of "jobs" advertised for "Self Employed" .

Although I think it's pretty reasonable to point out that he isn't advertising a job vacancy at all. Self employed is not a job and very likely isn't actually allowed in most circumstances.

Its a figure of speech. Since youre so literal, youre probably amazed that I actually dont actually look forward to it. I was pointing out where it could lead.
Another figure of speech would be 'Who asked you to put your neb in?' But Id never use that.

Hi Adrian
I live in Amersham and have been window cleaning for 8 years, self employed. Can I ask what your daily rate is for experienced window cleaners. I am fully CRB checked, IPAF level 3 and DBS checked?
Look forward to hearing from you?
Best regards
Will

Are CRB and DBS not one and the same?
Not nit picking, genuine question?
