As it coming to the end on November and nobody else has mentioned it. I thought I'd start a thread about Xmas holiday.
When do you finish and how long are you having off.
Raining today, so I'm packing it in until Jan 2018 cause I can have considerably more holidays than you (said in a Harry Enfield voiceover). ::)roll

In 15yrs of cleaning, ive mostly worked upto xmass and only had national days of. However since being on wfp, things are different. This year i should be finished a good week before and return to work in the new year.
However for ones not as fortunate to have as much time off, it works better knowing xmass is over the wknd and so dont loose much work days due to national days off ☺
But i used to get more tips working closer to xmass than finishing well before ::)roll

Christmas day is on a Sunday this year so will be taking it off for a change, hopefully by next year I will be wfp
so should be able to cut my working year down to about 20 days.

ill hopefully work in the last week, save some of my collecting till last week also, best tipping week, all my customers xmas tips mean a lot to me. I know times are hard but this is 1 time your customers show you how much they apreciate your hard loyal work all year long.
i usually reach in the £200-£300 mark. this is why i dont want all direct debits. i actually like collecting only when they are in though.
MERRY XMAS to you all, even the MISERABLE window cleaners out there ;) ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
i always say im taking a month off, but it gets so repetitive , i end up going nack first week in jan.
Next year im going to get my van sorted, hopefully get my reels off the floor. Seen a windy today ,he had both reels fixed onto his van interior roof, he had a ledge inside the top sides of his van, 2 reels clipped onto 2 pieces of 2/2 timber battons, with 2 hose reel guides fixed near doors. his floor was completelly clear, big rubber mating. His water tank & batteries were ply lined over, so all you had in his back to see was 2 reels + controllers.
less to nick
everyones setup is getting better. with experience
