Title: DI Resin - what's the best brand?
Post by: alanwilson on November 18, 2016, 12:02:35 am
Just curious if anyone here has used Jacobi resin/Rohm and Haas/dowex etc?

We used to use Purolite MB400 up until a couple of years ago then we changed to Tulsion MB115 - last fill was spectrum di resin which has been rubbish, 8ppm in, 200,000 litres and the resin is completely done ( 2 x 62 ltr vessels so four bags of resin per fill)

Anyone recommend anything better than the Tulsion?

Thanks in advance Mentlegen

I wonder if it's all made poor on purpose? You'd sell loads more if it didn't last so long. Maybe all the brands come from just one or two factories in India.

Hi guys
Thanks for the input.
Positivity, we could get away without resin but I like to be sure of water quality, a bit overkill I know.
The king- I will maybe try the unger resin, can't be any worse than spectrum.
Dave Willis - you could be right.
