Bought a few bits from Gardiner pole systems recently and on the whole I am happy with what I have got but I am really having problems with my hoses they either seem to be to hard and stay coiled so makes using the pole properly near impossible. The other problem is with the reinforced all weather hose it seems to be too soft and keeps kinking and cutting of my supply.
Is anybody else having these problems

Uncoil or twist out your pole hose before coupling it up. You shouldn't have problems if you do that. From experience with hose from another supplier many years ago when we purchased Aquadaptors.

What i generally do every couple of days in the colder months as it starts to twist etc is coil it up so its not twisted and put it in a bucket of fairly warm water at the end of the day for a minute , i find this helps keep its shape better during the next working day. (pole hose that is)

I agree with spruce on this one. It also helps if your Poles are tubeless. You can disconnect before reeling in and this will make it a whole lot easier for you to get the twists out.

i use PU pole hose and hot water and very rarely get problems.if i do i disconnect hose from my microbore and untwist it.this also releases the pressure in the hose.then i simply connect back up and crack on.
your always going to have some problems with hoses twisting,kinking and snagging.its part and parcel of being a WFP window cleaner! ;D

having just put the hot water heater back on a month ago and ruining the new all season pole hose i had i didnt fancy trying the red pole hose gardiner do as i found it not great to work with untill heated and softened up so i ordered some of the green pu hose gardiner sell and at first i thought it was just the same as the red stuff but it seems to have loosened up this last week or two and i might be wrong as i wasnt hoseless like i am now with the pole so it doesnt kink when reeling back on but i cant fault the green stuff at all!
