Hi fellas, has the new Super Max got any advantages over the Xtreme, replacing it or what?? What are the main differences? ???
Just wondered, that's all,for future reference.
Can anyone enlighten me please? :D

i asked the same question on a nother forum alex said quote
I have tried them both!
They are both very high quality poles. The Super-Max is directed at those who want high quality with robustness, rigidity and longevity. The Xtreme is aimed at those who want maximum ease of use, lightness and lack of fatigue at work.
The Smax22 is more rigid under heavy loads than the Xtreme22.

i asked about slx vs super max he said quote
The SMAX22 is much more rigid than the SLX22 - however it is a very small fraction heavier
There isn't a huge difference in usability, but for those who want the best it will outlast an SLX22

so the super max sounds like a beefed up slx that will last longer to be fair the slx is stiff any way and lasts long time i sapose its a case or over 35ft a super max will come in to its own ,i will probly get a extreme x3 as i like liter poles not that fussed about how long it will last changing a section every 12 months or so would be no issue for me ide rather have super liteness

Ah, OK, thanks for the info, very helpful.
I think I'm of the same mind as yourself ;D

Looking for a light pole so that my Mrs could do some tops. Is there anything much lighter than a SLX 18?

the gardner extreme or the facelift neon would be my choice as there very lite if i wanted best value ide go gardners as they will last longer due to the smart clamps but the neon is liter ;D
