Went out in me van today and me stop and battery light keeps coming on just wondered if anyone has any ideas why it's doing that or if anyone has had this happen to them
-
it will be the alternater , if I remember right on them its not as easy as a transit as you have to spilt the exhaust to do them
-
OK thanks I get it into the garage
-
Yep alternator had the same problem in mine
-
just had it on mine too .....£420 fitted :o

Last month new alternator on my Connect, £220.
The mobile mechanic took off the off side front wheel, removed some paneling inside the wheel arch, had the old alternator off in under 20 minutes, fitted the reconditioned replacement that came to the site via some spare parts company and I was back on the road in under an hour.

Mobile mech heads are sooo much better then garages 👍(as long as you find the right one).
