Last month new alternator on my Connect, £220.

The mobile mechanic took off the off side front wheel, removed some paneling inside the wheel arch, had the old alternator off in under 20 minutes, fitted the reconditioned replacement that came to the site via some spare parts company and I was back on the road in under an hour.

Mobile mech heads are sooo much better then garages 👍(as long as you find the right one).

Cheers Tim mine was similar in the end!
