what do people reckon to this with hot water, im currently using the all season but as its not really designed for hot temps its gets abit silly string so i only have it around 30 degrees, i wont be going any higher anyway but it also swells up too so i want something a tad stronger but dont like the orange gardiner hose as its hard to work untill its warmed up abit so wondered whats this green stuff like, does it coil up like the orange stuff etc?

not shore about the gardner green stuff but the blue exceed hose is good for hot system ive had it in ages now and its still going strong its just started to get a bit twisty but its not an issue yet only does it a couple times a day

Haven't tried it with hot yet but it's the best PU hose I've used with cold water. It's the only PU hose I haven't had to boil to get it a point where I could work with it.

Cheers guys I've heard the exceed is good stuff but there's no info on they're website about its temps capability, good to know the Gardiner green stuff is good when its cold so hopefully it will be abit stronger than all season when hot!

I've tried three PU hoses from different suppliers all of were much better when hot than the PVC all season hose which nealy burst under the pressure when hot. I've no reason to believe the green PU will be any different to the others. If I had some gas I'd heat some water and let you know. But I don't normally start with hot water till the temps are well down.

I've just switched my water heater back on after a coldish week last week, forgot how good it is on the snail trails and stubborn crap!!
Just need to find some decent pole hose now though as this all season stuff is about to burst!
