Hi Steve,
What about
Unlike Sunderland I'm not firing blanks ;D
When Steve goes gunning the dirt goes running.
Think I better go and have a beer ::)
Cheers

Steve
I'm a BNI member
My current punchline is
" I don't cut corners I clean them"
Nigel
PS It can take time for people to get to know you, stick with it, you will get some good business.

I looked at it, but had to meet every week at 6.45am on Wednesdays plus carry business cards for other people to push their business as they are hopefully pushing yours.
Also i do not like public speaking. If it works for you, fine but i don't think it is for me. I would rather swap cards with all my local trades people. Also a bit pricey?

I have had quite a bit of work since joining including a large contract.

Steve
I am glad it works for you, as nothing ventured and all that, but do you spend a lot of time pushing other peoples business for them? I think the longer you are in the scheme, the more pressure is applied to each member to increase each other work levels and you end up explaining yourself every week. I know of some people who dropped out after a while due to hassel etc.
As i said at the moment its not for me, and after working twelve hour shifts for twelve years. i don't get up early anymore out of principle, and i would need to get up at 5.30am to get to Cardiff but as i said i am glad it works for you.
Keep us informed though.
