Alex has hinted previously that the tap may not be the best solution for a swiveler and that other flow control methods would be better suited.

...and the bolt for the swivel. I had to call Gardiner's for that part as I don't think it's listed as a spare and doesn't come with either part I believe.

Operating the valve requires proper positioning of the brush. Sounds fiddly but in practice I have not found it a problem and it hasn't slowed me down. I just lay the brush on the window ledge and twist to turn it on mostly for upstairs work or position it at the bottom of the window not the top as with the fixed version, and turn it on by hand for downstairs

It is a version of it , peter fogwill has worked with alex to create it , im guessing they would of sorted that problem before bringing it to market though.

if you are using the aquatap and it is getting stiffer over time, what you have to do it get a pair of mole grips and pull the metal pins out of the side pull the aquatap apart and grease the inside with lithium greace (the rubber gaskets not being greased it what is making it stiff) if you have any old ones do this they will be like new

i believe peter worked with gardiners to produce the new tap which is great as you can see infulences from both partyes on which is a really great device, i dont think you will have any trouble with stiffnes on this one as you can use an allen key to adjust tension
