I've just started using it
As recommended on the container, had no problems. Using hot water?

ps Our school custard was lovely and smooth, everything was better in the 70's.  ;D

No, dont use liquid f90..........!!!!!

Use powdered f90,  mix it in an old f90 busket (with no  indents in the base of the bucket to trap product in),
add the desired amount and then the hot water and use a whisk to give it a damn good whisking!!!!!!
If you are unsure whether there are lumps/bits still there, pour it through a sieve into your tank and/or
sprayer, depending how you are using it!!!!!

Steve i find the liquid to be not as good and to be too bloody foamy!!!!!

I mix while filling the bucket then just give it a stir afterward, no problems.

The liquid isn't buffered so watch the pH

So is the powder. Certified WoolSafe when diluted at maximum dilution.

Correct Dennis... many cleaners tend to forget that

Does Woolsafe have a maximum Ph that it will accept in cleaning agents?

If the powder is buffered then  even at maximum dilution it will stay above a certain level, I always thought the benefit of using the liquid is the ability to lower its Ph (as it is not buffered )  looks like they are altering their discription to get within the Woolsafe criteria

steven you seem determined to use liquid  which is not as good as powdered, so go with it if thats  the one you prefer,
its down to personal choice!!!

Chemspec are notorious for poor label instructions and giving incorrect information, on the above link it appears to me that they may have confused the F90 liquid and Powdered F90. It mentions triple strength formula but that is a characteristic of F90 liquid not Powdered F90. Please check this before using on wool. The powder is a high pH. Regards, Nobby.

Looks like Nobby is spot on.
I emailed Legend Brands for clarification and got this reply from Director of Sales, Legend Brands Europe:

Formula 90 Powder isn’t approved by the Woolsafe Organisation for use on wool carpet, however the Chemspec Liquid Formula 90 is approved by them and available from stock. It’s a variable dilution product that you can mix to suit the soil level.
If you prefer to use a powdered rinse detergent I’m pleased to say we do have one that’s approved for use on wool.  Choose the Chemspec OneClean Powder.

They need to get their act together before putting mis-leading information on their own website.  >:(

Liquid at half the lowest recommended dilution is great as a rinse agent. Powders good as prespray but never run any powders through my pumps, however well I mix  powders  clog things up.

I prep mine using a handheld blender and some warmish water.
