Title: transit custom headlights

thanks for reading i have a transit custom 8 months old,i only really use it for work so only driven during the day.
went out in in last night and found the headlines,on dipped beam are dull and dont really light up the road,i found i could only really see properley when using main beam,just wondered if any others owners expreince the same.

my eye sight is ok,no glasses required

Yep they are rubbish.

I retro fitted HID headlights.  Amazing but caused errors so took em out.

Just buy some updated bulbs. I believe I have Phillips ones. Cost about 25£ much better.

Also the cornering bulbs. If you have them. Swap em for LED

get some bulbs called night breaker very good and not to expensive I got mine from halfords

Teams for your replies and help,what surprises me with the custom,as everything else is good and well thought out in my opinion.


I really am surprises how bad the headlights are
 
Are the bulbs easy to fit ?

Yep, couple of bolts to take the head lights out

Whilst your there, I would think about sticking a cover over your ecu. Its easier when you've taken the head lights off, and the ecu can potentially get some water damage do to a dodgy design

If you think they are bad, try a mk7 transit.
