I haven't used my Pure Freedom trolley for about six months or so (since I've now moved to a van mount). I tried to get it working today however when I switch the controller on the LED display flashes between the flow rate, PS & Bat. I have re-calibrated but still get the same issue. The battery is fully charged. The trolley has been sitting in a dry garage over this time. NB: The hoses into & out of the pump look to be clear & I get this problem whether I have the WFP connected or not... Any ideas?

i bet the batteries knackered.try hooking it up to another battery.

There is two issues happening here.
1. "bat " displayed means that the controller is seeing less than 11V at the battery as the battery comes under load.
A battery will loose up to 5% of its capacity a week just sitting not connected. As the battery has stood idle for some time it may be it is not able to hold a charge very well. The effect you are seeing with voltage dropping off so rapidly would suggest the battery is worn.
Even when not in use a battery ideally should be regularly charged to help maintain the Cells in good condition.
2. PS. The controller uses PS to either show the pump pressure switch has activated Or to warn of an electrical fault. Do check that there is no air getting into the system and there is nothing blocking the hose.pump outlet. Also check the connnections from the battery terminals - controller and pump. In particular look out for worn/corroded connectors Fuse/Holder or any point where the cable core is exposed. Also ensure connections are good/not loose.

Also the hose kinks at the stop where the handle folds down. We had a problem with a PF trolley we used on a training course.

Thanks all.

I finally got around to looking at this today! Yes, it was the battery.
