Just purchased a seven litre deionizing vessel with 3/4 inch ports. I want to take it down to 1/4" push fit.
Can't spot them on the website - do I need four parts to bodge it? Seem to remember it was an expensive way to go years ago but can't remember which bits are required.

Hi Dave
The DI Vessel you bought has 1" ports.
You would need the following items to make each port fit 1/4" John Guest tubing:
1" to 3/4" Reducing bush - http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/fittings-barbs-adapters-etc/screw-thread-fittings/female-to-male-reducing-bush.html
3/4" to 3/4" screw thread fitting - http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/fittings-barbs-adapters-etc/screw-thread-fittings/male-to-male-connector.html
http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/hose-fittings-adapters/john-guest-fittings/1-4-fittings/john-guest-outside-tap-a-to-a-push-fit-adapter.html
It is rare for someone to want to use 1/4" tubing on a large vessel like this - hence the multiple fittings needed.

Good spot. Yes, for some reason I've had quarter inch for nearly ten years, I guess whoever supplied my very first unit (not you) must have thought it was the thing to do.
Cheers, will order some more bits.

Ordered (hope I got it right) Alex, did I get the last one with 1" ports? They are listed as 3/4" today - am I going nuts?

Your order is exactly right.
You did order our last 1" port DI vessel in stock. The website then switched to the alternative 3/4" port items until we have the next batch of 1" port vessels in.
You are not going mad this time ;D
