Title: LPG heater
Post by: jonny thompson on September 19, 2016, 08:35:18 pm
Hi I've bought myself a 6L lpg heater , having before an8L heater , I was hoping I would need a slower water rate to ignite the 6L but I seem to need a higher rate, what do you lpg users have the control panel set at
Cheers

I have two fastar heaters  one being the 8L stainless steel which ignites on a flow of 18-22, the 6L which I hoped needed less flow as I only have a 400 L tank needs a flow of 35 which I find strange

Not sure why but if I had my flow on 70 I would get through 400l in about 3 hours

on the L10 there is only 1 water dial(no summer/winter settings) and a heat control dial.the boiler will only ignite if water dial is on min setting.

So u don't have a fire control dial which just makes a large or small flame

yes course i have(heat control dial).i have it on min setting  most of the time as water is hot even on this setting in the warmer months.in winter its just warm due to heat loss through hose on freezing days(plus you dont want it too hot in freezing temperatures)
