Title: soft wash: sprays for poles?
Post by: nathankaye on September 18, 2016, 04:54:53 pm
As well as pressure washing, im trying to break into soft washing. Currently again only targeting existing clients untill i build my reputation and experience in this avenue and so only small ish jobs to begin with. Im armed with my gardiner back pack to use first, but ive seen videos where people use their poles but no brush to give a good spray (either pre wash or wash) before using the brush. Wondered what jets they are using on end of pole. Ive briefly looked at x jets but unless im mistaken, is that for use with a petrol powered machine rather than electric powered pump?
Thank you in advance for any recommendations or links.

Just get some fan jets - ready made lumark ones that have a hose tail or build your own - been plenty of threads on fan jets with links, personally leave your brush on

I would recommend getting 'good' at one thing at a time.

Depends on the individual!

I was under the impression that the likes of those nozzels, ie benz require a certain amount of pressure, more than what my gardiner back pack gives. So would they still be ok for that?

Sorry Nathan I can't answer that as I don't have a backpack to try one on or would have tried it out for you.
However I can say the 10 & 6.5 Benz nozzles work just fine with a shurflo 100 psi 5 lpm pump . Also with that atv spot sprayer pump I have.

The smaller pumps are ok on the 6.5 nozzle size, we've just released a few new types which I'll post over the weekend. :)
