Had pain in the neck throat now for last couple of years, been to see the doc and he says it could be occupational.

Try to stand further back when cleaning at height to reduce the acute angle your head is at.

Also use your legs to walk back and forward as you clean the window to reduce the amount of 'travel' in your arms.

What pole and brush do you use?

Used to get a fair amount of pain a few years back.

Changed technique. Swapped to extreme poles as soon as they were released. Regular Physio.  Correct brush for the correct job.

Pain is a thing of the past. 6 years wfp on the 20th of this month.

I use the lightest gear, but its looking up all the time that makes the neck pain

Thats why i've never understood people recommending 18ft poles as the norm for standard houses.

What is the change in technique?

Or do you mean standing further away at a better angle?

Or do you mean standing further away at a better angle?

Learn to pole with the pole held on the opposite side of the body to your normal position.

I use a clx with 4 parts, 36 or something???? had it years feels light as a feather. been strength training for around 18 years now.
I'm not small.
I do hitch my neck right back when doing ups, have started extending pole an extra section and standing further back.
Seems to hurt all the time even when ive been off for a few days???

Have to see what happens!
