Title: Psi / Flow
Post by: alireza on September 13, 2016, 09:38:41 am
Hi

Can you some how control the flow like psi I want to get a hot box for my cold system the hotbox is rated 95 degree , 200 bar and 11 Lpm but my pump is 155 bar , 16 Lpm so if there is a greasy job and I need the water to be very hot I have to have a maximum 11 Lpm flow

Thank You

Use a smaller jet or turn down the downloader. This will restrict the amount of water passing through the heater coil so increase temp

So you want to maintain a high PSI but reduce flow, then your only option is to use the jet to reduce the flow.

Or preheat the water before it enters the burner

Maybe instead just get a larger 21 lpm spec burner might be a better idea. Having a larger coil you will have more flexibility of what type of washer you use.

Some say never play about with an unloader but use different size tips matched to your spec washer instead.
