Thinking of selling some work but it's a mixture or 6 and 8 weekly mainly so how would you suggest I work out a price to sell it for? Thanks

The old benchmark used to be three times the monthly amount but that is so variable now.
The following usually helps the seller get more:
If it's wfp.
If it's well priced.
If it's compact.
If it's regular.
If the customers don't expect you to call and collect.
So if it was all of those things you might get a lot more than 3X. 5 or 6X or even 10X have been heard of.
You would expect to get your price better if you introduced the new guy to your customers, may be even working with him on the first clean (splitting that day or days earnings 50/50).
Pitfalls:
They want monthly payments and you may only get the first one or two. (So if you can insist on full payment after the introductory visit and clean.)
They will be concerned about drop-off's so you might agree to either knock off say 10% to cover this (if more drop off then it is the buyer's hard luck, if less then it's your hard luck) or you agree to refund any that do within say two cleans.
Just some thoughts.

I would put up the value of the 6 weekly work - e.g. totals £200 every 6 weeks
put up the value of the 8 weekly work - e.g. totals £200 every 8 weeks
and let people work it out for themselves as to how they want to value it.
As for yourself, you must have some idea how much you want for it, total it up over the year and divide it by 12 to give you a monthly average.

What would put me off personally is the 6 week and 8 week schedules. It means I would do the 6 weekly then have to come back and do the 8 weekly.
As a buyer, for ease of management I would treat them all as 8 weekly. To me is just doesn't make good commercial sense to have to return 2 weeks later. missing out the 6 weekly ones. To me it would need to be something special to stick to those cleaning schedules.
So to me, not knowing the detail, I couldn't comment further. I agree with Granvilles post on this.

Thanks guys, I will be selling it to someone who knows the work so he isn't worried about the 6 and 8 week schedule but just wanted an idea of how much I could charge.
