When you have a customer who are having their carpets cleaned because the previous tennants/owners had a dog and they have allergies which pre spray do you go for??

As a lot of Dogs have oily coats, this often gets transferred to the carpet fibres. There are two ways to go. You can use an Enzyme Pre spray and the Enzyme will break down the oily residues for removal. Or you can use a Citrus type Pre Spray and the degreasing action will achieve the same result.

john's answer is spot on. the advantage of a Enzyme it will break down the proteins which are the problem here. mak sure you vac wilh hepa filter as you dont want to speculate all the proteins into the air and for them to land on every other surface then to be disturbed and breathed in later.
Good Luck

Hi John
Would Pre-Enzyme Solution pre-spray be the appropriate product for a synthetic carpet affected by urine from a toddler .

Then use http://www.amtechuk.co.uk/shop/Amtech_UK_Ozone_Generator__Machine_and_Supplies-pid-203.html

What is the trigger for their
hypercondria I mean 'allergy'?
I would use any good quality prespray then rinse with high heat ( as long as the carpet can take it) but unless you are doing a full clean of all surfaces inc curtains, radiators, cupboard tops etc...etc it is just pampering to their psychosomatic nonsense

Maybe Alltec's Promite...............charge them loads extra for the allergy conditioning treatment and killing any fleas that they may have left...............clean with heat to remove the oils..............take money.
I had one person who was so precious and wanting me to use just steam and eco friendly cleaning solutions etc. Wacked down some old microsplitter I had and then rinsed it out. She got less of a clean in my opinion but she was so happy with the clean and she paid handsomely for treatment
