What would you say is the best window cleaning equipment to use on very high Windows inside.
I've seen some sort of pole system with a pad on it but not sure if this will do the job.

That would be the dragon fly kit ..expensive and will only do a good job if windows are already fairly clean...can't you get a ladder inside?

Or a wagtail on a pole?

Vikan easy shine kit is probably the cheapest high reach indoor kit you can get. I use one with an adapter on a 30' Slx (from Gardiners) to do some car showroom internals. Does a good enough job.

Been involved with this job which has had 5 days of high level internals. The thing is i found out yesterday some of the glass hadn't been cleaned properly for over 2 years so regular indoor kits were never going to cut the mustard.
The method we eventually adopted was to initially clean with either a 24" or 30" squeegee followed by another application of Oddbods (50% R.O. Water/40% vinegar/10% commercial glass cleaner) special inside cleaning solution and then a final buff with a commercial glass cleaner on a Vikan buffing pad.
There were over 300 balustrades to clean and somewhere in the region of 50 panes of high level glass each measuring 12' X 5'. Using that method described they come up pucker.

That's what a certain part of my anatomy would do faced with getting a job like that right!
But I think that ol' slacky means "pukka" but was practicing early for Speak Like A Pirate Day or has a west country brogue when talking the language of the sub-continent which spills over into his posts. ;D

Has anyone used the stingray if so are they any good ,i have the unger pads at mo where you spray onto pad i dont know if im using it correct but i clean a local car show room and when sun shines they are streaky so i just get mop and blade back out ,the only pain when doing insides is having to mop up after yourself

Thank you for the response, my wife and her friend have started an interior window cleaning business and some of the jobs have high Windows.
Gardiner indoor pole system looks good , £200.00 have you tried it..

No need to spend anything like that on a pole system, your basically spending money to spray a small amount of water onto
the glass when spraying it onto the pad does the same job.
What you need is a pad holder (Vikan Easyshine or similar) and a Gardiner pole adaptor to connect it to your pole, then a good
supply of pads.
Get some of the cheaper Terry type pads for removing large amounts of first clean dirt and the more expensive to finish off and
for repeat cleans.
Just remember with all these pad systems its hard to achieve a smear free finish and it can be time consuming
work.

Haven't used one but they just do the same as your doing now, dampen the pad while its on the glass. The maximum reach isn't
great I think around 12ft plus user and as all the weight is on the pad end it will be heavy to use.
As for the Unger pads, try to keep them as dry as possible when buffing the glass, your only supposed to use a mist of water
or solution on the pad.
Its very difficult to get a smear free finish with any of them especially a first clean.

The videos of the unger pads show that they spray something onto the pad and just use that to buff up ,i have been washing window with the pad that looks like a wool finish then trying to polish it with the one that looks like the cotton type micro fibre but it seems to be to much of a chore but they make it look so easy
